THE PROBLEM
Manurewa High School had a problem with mats that were too small to wipe feet effectively. These mats were also constantly on the move and had to be repeatedly taped down.
THE SOLUTION
Our installer glued down Charcoal Slim-Rib outdoor carpet directly to the floor for the indoor corridor entrance ways. The job was completed using alloy transition bars to create a trip free transition between the surfaces and frame it in an attractive manner. Slim-rib outdoor carpet is designed to last under NZ conditions and is designed to dry quickly. It was also used on outdoor steps and ramps as needed.
THE OUTCOME
Not only do these areas now look very smart, there are no more moving mats and less effort is needed in maintenance. The floors, decks and ramps are drier and safe for all.
