Te Awamutu College needed a way to protect their Gym floor from street shoes. We proposed using long mat runners to create a walk way around the high traffic area.

St John’s Catholic School in Hamilton wanted to remind visitors to remove their street shoes so we created an eye-catching mat to display that message.

THE PROBLEM

Street Shoes were marking the Gym Floor in two High Schools

THE SOLUTION

Three Long Mat Runners were to used to create a non-slip and removable pathway in Te Awamutu College. Phoenix Washable Mats are easy to vacuum and sit securely on the floor. They are low profile and therefore non-trip. They can be rolled up and move when more court space is needed. The Prestige Logo Mat works as a large sign to remind Visitors that Street Shoes are not allowed.

THE OUTCOME

Both schools have had their mats delivered in the Summer school holidays so we look forward to feedback from the schools to see how they are performing.

Prestige Logo Mats for School Gyms

St Johns Catholic School in Hamilton were also worried about street shoes marking their brand-new Gym floor so their solution was a large Prestige Logo Mat saying 'Gym Shoes Only' to act as a stop sign in the doorway.
